Horseback Riding    Grades K – 5

For those students who have little or no experience, lessons given will focus on balance and basic mechanics of riding. Students will also be given basic instruction on the skill of horsemanship and horse care including how to groom, tack up and take basic care of their horse. Participants should wear heeled boots and long pants.  Riding helmets are provided by the instructor (If you do not have a bike helmet). Learn to ride and have fun.  All classes will be held at Pond View Farm, 40 Perkins Rd, Lagrangeville, NY.  Students should bring a snack and plenty of water Sunscreen applied at home is recommended.
