THIS LUMINOUS EARTH

This Luminous Earth features Albany Pro Musica and Orchestra Pro Musica in a program of introspection,
grief, hope, and redemption. The performance will include Jake Runestad’s EMMY®-Award winning Earth Symphony, a ground-breaking choral symphony that imagines Earth’s hope for humanity, her discover of its power, her ruination a
t its hands, her lament at its loss, and her recovery.
APM will also present Lux Aeterna, Morten Lauridsen’s sublime,
light-filled requiem.
Orchestra seats for a 3pm Matinee.
We will take a Charter Bus from Arlington High School at 10:30am and will return immediately after the show. Recommended for ages 8 and up, children under the age of 5 are not permitted. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
You may bring snacks for the bus ride. Items can be left on the bus.
We should arrive around 12:30pm so there will be time to have lunch at a local restaurant. There are several restaurants in walking distance to the concert hall.  To name a few: Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, The Whistling Kettle Troy, Lo Porto Ristorante Caffe, Brown’s Brewing Company, Tara Kitchen.  Be sure to call ahead and make a reservation to ensure you have enough time to eat and get back to the theater before 3pm.
We will return immediately after the show, should be back to the high school around 6:50pm.
